Mena Alexandra (born on February 13, 1979) is a model and actress from the United States. Soon after her first job as a model, she moved into acting, after appearing as a guest on 90's TV shows like Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her film debut came in the 1997 drama film Nowhere. After her performance in American Beauty (for which she was awarded the BAFTA Award) and American Pie which brought her much attention, she completed her transition into major role. She was in the film industry for a year, and appeared alongside her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. Then, she played the main part in Sugar & Spice (2000). The year 2002 saw her starred in Spun the independent drama as well as the 2004 thriller, Trauma. Other appearances on HBO include the comedy Six Feet Under. In 2008, Suvari was cast in a variety of films, like Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and also as in the adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari is featured in a variety of fashion magazines and blogs and blogs, such as Vogue. She's an official Lancome model, and is featured on the advertisements printed of Lancome Paris Adaptive. She has been a strong advocate and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation. The organization is also active in issues of female empowerment and is associated with groups that promote awareness of breast cancer and the End Violence Against Women Campaign. She is known for modeling famous campaigns, such as Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada & the Olympics. Missy's movies include Stick It Backcountry Red as well as Wide Awake.
