Mena Alexandera Suvari, born in 1979 is an American model, actress as well as a fashion stylist. Born on 13 February 1979. In 1990, shortly following her debut as a model, Suvari began acting in TV shows such as Boy Meets World. In 1997 she debuted as a film actress in Nowhere. The performances she made in American Beauty, for which she received the BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie attracted a lot of attention. Suvari models on behalf of Lancome Paris Adaptive, and she's also been featured in a variety of blogs and magazines, including Vogue. Suvari has been a defender and advocate for the African Medical and Research Foundation, a prestigious charity that offers relief to Africa. She also is active on women's empowerment issues and works with organizations that promote awareness of breast cancer and an End Violence Against Women Campaign.
